​Eddy Tide Marine was born from a love of boating, oceans and all things aquatic. From humble beginnings in 1998, Chris Cooney, the founder of Eddy Tide Marine, has spent years of research and development leading to a quest to produce a supreme custom off-shore fishing vessel that is suited to the waters of Western Australia.

Enjoying an ocean-based lifestyle from a young age commencing on the River and canals of Mandurah, endless Rottnest trips, charter boats, fishing, cray fishing and diving, Chris’s knowledge of sea vessels comprises nearly 40 years of adventure and experience.

His experience gained through boat building (commencing with Austal Ships) has enabled Chris to identify the superior qualities of each boat and strive to combine them into the ultimate, all-rounder pleasure-craft.
